Barclays supports children in Venezuela

Millions of children are facing a food crisis caused by conflicts such as the war in Ukraine, climate change and the negative impact of the pandemic.
49 million people in 46 countries are now at risk of famine or similar conditions and need to receive immediate assistance.

Save the Children is working in countries where the food crisis is most severe to support families with food, cash and supplies, as well as health and nutrition services to keep their children out of hunger. 

Following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, a group of Barclays colleagues (Stefano Manelli, Enrique Fernández, Judith Vázquez Otero and Sara Angulo - with hopefully more to join) has come together to take on a challenge of completing 50,000 steps each in one week to raise funds in support of Save the Children’s humanitarian response for children and families affected by the disaster.
