AWWG and Save the Children join forces to relieve Children's hunger in Spain. The collaboration comes to life through a nutrition program to help vulnerable families meet their basic needs during this holidays. Be part of the change and join us!

WHY URGENT ACTION IS NEEDED? 

More than 2,2 million children in Spain (1 in 3) live below the poverty threshold and cannot access a sufficient, long-lasting and healthy diet.
Spain is one of the countries most affected by the COVID-19. The impact of this crisis on the most vulnerable families has been and continues to be devastating.

With the support of AWWG movement we can prevent this from happening.

Now, more than ever, we need your support. Together we can contribute to keep transforming the lives of vulnerable families.

By taking part in this project, you will be helping Save the Children’s nutrition program which supports more than 1,500 families in Spain. The aid provided is access to food, shelter and ensure that children grow up in an adequate home. 

• 82% of these families have been forced to reduce food expenses.
• 83% of their children do not consume the recommended daily portions of fruit and vegetables. 
• 47% of these families have been forced to ask for financial help from relatives or friends.

Our objective is to raise 10,000€ to provide access to food for 100 children. AWWG kicks off the donation with 5,000€.
