Durante el verano de 2015, Europa fue testigo de un éxodo masivo que llevó al continente a enfrentar una crisis humanitaria y política sin precedentes. Un trágico naufragio en el Mediterráneo, el cuerpo del menor Aylan Kurdi en la playa y la indecisión de los países europeos ante esta situación, marcaron esta crisis. Hoy, cinco años después, la crisis se ha agudizado tras el incendio que arrasó con gran parte del campo de refugiados de Moria en Lesbos, que albergaba a unas 15.000 personas.
La emergencia de salud pública provocada por el Coronavirus ha agravado aún más la situación que viven los niños y niñas que vienen de Siria, Irak, Afganistán y también de países de África Subsahariana.
Desde Brief Festival te pedimos que consideres hacer una donación para que Save the Children pueda seguir llevando a cabo los programas de ayuda para los menores que llegan a Europa.

During Summer 2015, Europe witnessed a massive migration that triggered an unprecedented humanitarian and political crisis. The tragic death on the Mediterranean coast of a young kid, Aylan Kurdi, and the lack of response from the European countries still represent, sadly, this crisis. Five years later, the situation has worsened with the fire that destroyed a vast portion of the Moria refugee camp at Lesbos, where 15.000 people were living.
The Covid-19 health crisis has made even harder to support the children who come from Syria, Irak, Afghanistan and several African countries.
From Brief Festival, we kindly ask you to consider donating to the NGO Salve the Children, so they can keep deploying their support programs towards the children who arrive on the shores of Europe.
As adults, we are responsible of the wellbeing of children across the World, each can make a difference.
